Some of you might recognize Erica from her amazing shop in downtown San Luis Obispo, Blackwater.  I know both of them from my teenage days and she even came to my super awesome 18th birthday party (sarcasm).  I have worked with Erica and Blackwater a ton in a past few years, so you can image how freakin excited I was when Erica asked me to shoot her wedding this August out at Lopez lake. One of the words she used to describe her wedding was “pagan”, which is all the nontraditional amazingness I have come to expect from this beauty!  I love everything about her style and adore how much love these two have for each other.

This was my first session while living in Paris in April. It was one of the only really sunny days during my time there. I met Stephanie, a gorgeous agency represented model formally from Luxemburg,  in Paris. She was one of the sweetest girls I’ve met in the purest form possible. Shooting with her was amazing and I remember feeling so light and happy walking the street back home after meeting with her. We used the Louvre as our backdrop, which was also a dream of mine. The most famous museum in the world and a stunning model. I was on cloud 9.

Jessica and Jason’s wedding day was crazy. They had to face so many obstacles just to say I do. Between family issues, insane traffic, and swarming bugs, it was far from simple and easy. They had to FIGHT to get married and would do anything to do so. Everyone was stuck in traffic for 4 hours, thus being late to the wedding and almost missing getting married at all! They had a rushed ceremony, but it was perfect.  These two love birds were so elated because everything just faded away after they said their vows. We took their bride and groom shots in the Valley with the last remaining light and got some of the most beautiful images on our walk to go eat pizza. That’s a good reminder that amazing things happen on the road to pizza.
